Henry Cavill is one of the greatest actors of this generation. Over the years, he has become a household name. From playing support roles in various movies to taking the lead as Clark Kent a.k.a. Superman in the Man of Steel to playing The Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher, Cavill has come a long way. On the other side of the spectrum, we have another fellow British actor, Tom Holland. Similarly, Holland is also an astounding actor. His role in Spiderman is one of the most iconic superhero roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ever since Daniel Craig stepped down from his role as 007, the hunt for the next James Bond has started and is still in progress. James Bond is one of the most iconic roles ever played on-screen. With different actors like Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, and Henry Cavill competing for the role, there is no doubt in the fact that Cavill is seemingly the fan favorite. While The Witcher actor shares a long history with the 007 part, Tom Holland too is keen to step into Bond’s shoes. Previously, the Uncharted actor even confessed, “Ultimately, as a young British lad who loves cinema, I’d love to be James Bond. So, y’know, I’m just putting that out there. I mean, I look pretty good in a suit! I’d be like a really short James Bond.”

Holland even revealed he casually manifests the role by repeatedly claiming to be Bond in interviews. Despite his desire to be the next 007, Tom is merely 25 years old. Interestingly, when Henry Cavill was 23, he auditioned for the part in the 2003 film Casino Royale and got rejected for being a bit chubby, young, and inexperienced for the role.

Over the years, we have seen Henry Cavill make every role he plays a memorable one. Since his audition for Casino Royale, Cavill has come a long way and proved to be one of the best performers. Time and again, the Enola Holmes actor has starred in action films like Mission Impossible: Fallout. Cavill as the lead would surely not be disappointing considering his performances in The Witcher and Man of Steel.
