Based on the books by Andrzej Sapkowski, the Netflix Original The Witcher is at an emotional point for fans. Henry Cavill will stop appearing as Geralt of Rivia in the forthcoming seasons of the show. While fans are still waiting for the second volume of the third season to drop, the trailer for the same is certainly suggestive. With a lot of violence and thrill, the trailer finally suggested the end of the iconic character for the British actor.

Geralt can go to any limits to protect his Child Surprise. And as Jaskier also pointed out in the trailer, Geralt has a lot going on inside him, too. Well, these extreme and protective emotions for Ciri are going to put him in a dangerous position. The trailer saw Ciri being transported to another realm while Yennefer tried to help Geralt fight. Amidst all the chaotic wars going around in the Continent, Geralt said, “There’s no coming back from this.”

His sword broke in the middle of the fight and the next thing viewers saw on the screen was the White Wolf lying in the water. Is this the end? Is this how the 40-year-old will get the exit? While the scene is highly suggestive of the same, it is also extremely overwhelming for fans as well. From being the neutral monster killer to becoming a father protecting a child, Geralt’s journey has been an exciting one.

Fans of the original books were not happy with the changes the show made. However, the performance by the Enola Holmes actor as this significant character impressed them a lot.
