Denial is the emotion we all showcase, especially when someone special is no more with us. Then comes the acceptance, and finally the celebration of the very human that we grieved for. Two months ago, we lost a man who was a living legend, a man who made all of us laugh countless times, and a man that touched our hearts every time he was in our presence. We are, of course, talking about the legendary comedian and actor Bob Saget. While we are still not sure how to deal with the loss, Netflix is now ready to celebrate the beautiful human he was.

In the month of January 2022, after the demise of Bob Saget, Mike Binder, one of the comedian’s closest friends of put together this small event in honor of his beloved friend. He made the official announcement of the show on the podcast Dystopia Tonight! with John Poveromo and its upcoming availability on Netflix as a special.

The special features many world-renowned celebrities who came together to celebrate the legend Bob was. The list includes but is not limited to Chris Rock, Jim Carrey, John Stamos, John Mayer, and Jeff Ross. Even though the original show was open for only a limited number of people, Netflix is making it possible for the world to see it.

Binder shared a hilarious clip on the podcast and talked about what can we expect from the special. The clip features Chris Rock and Jim Carrey cracking jokes at the expense of one another. Rock humorously says, “I think it is sad that the moth******er had to die to get Jim Carrey back on stage.” Carrey laughs and says, “I only come out on sad occasions.” And just as we think things are a little settled now, Rock takes it to another level and says, “If this is the only way we get to see you perform, I’m going to kill Eddie Murphy next week.”
