How Ryan and Rob bonded over social media during the pandemic
Charming people is one of the traits that Ryan Reynolds possess as anyone could easily fall for his humor and happy face. This is how an unlikely partnership started between him and the American actor Rob McElhenney. The Red Notice star revealed on the Jimmy Fallon show that he had never met Rob before they cracked the Wrexham deal.
Surprisingly, it all started when Reynolds texted Rob on social media and they talked the whole pandemic over chats and video calls.
“Like a classic fanboy, I DM’d him just to say how much I admire him, and I sent him a case of Aviation Gin, because I’m nothing if not a pusher,” admitted the Free Guy actor.
Eventually, he convinced Rob to invest in the soccer team in North Wales, and the duo finally met in May 2021. How do you like the amusing shenanigans this duo keeps on doing? Share your thoughts with us in the comment section.
