Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are at the odds with Prince William and Kate Middleton. The rift between the two royal brothers has deepened following the release of the Netflix show Harry & Meghan. The Sussexes accused the future king and Queen Consort of having problems in digesting their growing popularity in the United Kingdom. However, there was a time when Prince Harry and Kate Middleton were known for their heart-warming friendship in the royal circle. 

Before his marriage to Meghan Markle, Prince Harry formed a trio with Prince William and Kate Middleton. The Sussex royal treated the Princess of Wales like a sister and often three-wheeled in the royal engagements with Wales. The friendship and adulation were reciprocated by Middleton as well. In 2019, Princess Catherine paid a heart-melting homage to her brother-in-law.

Kate Middleton used Prince Louis to show her good bond with Prince Harry

In June 2019, Prince Louis attended his first Trooping the Color Parade on the occasion of Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday. Kate Middleton made the annual tradition more memorable by dressing her younger son in Prince Harry’s childhood clothes. Prince Louis was spotted wearing the same white shirt and blue shorts that the Duke of Sussex wore in an event decades ago. There is also a picture of the Sussex royal wearing the same outfit while standing on the Buckingham Palace balcony in his childhood.

At that time, a lot of royal fans believed that Prince Louis wearing his uncle’s clothes had a much deeper meaning. Just like the Duke of Sussex, Middleton and Prince William’s son is also the brother of the future king. Thus, he is likely to have the same role in the monarchy as Prince Harry had when he was a working royal member. 

Meanwhile, June 2019 was not the first time that Wales had used their children to give an important message. They had also made their firstborn Prince George’s Trooping the Color debut memorable by making him wear similar clothes as his father.
