From having an unfit body for the Marvel character to becoming extremely attractive with a noticeable change in physique, Chris Pratt has established himself as an amazingly talented actor. However, before becoming the voice of Mario and a Marvel star, the 43-year-old actor was in a totally different profession.

The voice of Mario has been making a lot of voice recently with the film’s landing in the theaters. However, there was a time when the actor did not think about becoming an actor. Because he was a door-to-door salesman. In his conversation with the hosts of the SmartLess podcast, he talked about his life before this Hollywood fame. While talking about his personal life, the Passengers actor opened up about his job.

He revealed as he did not go to college but he did a semester of community college. Before college, he played a lot of sports but never had been in a play. Well, revealing his family history jokingly, Pratt revealed because he answered a really stupid question; he got the job as a salesman. They were selling coupons under the multi-level marketing scheme.

He even tried to open his own office, but he soon learned that his management skills were terrible. Therefore, it did not work out, and he had to go back home with his mother. However, a high-school friend helped him out and brought him to Maui.

With a lot of debt and a broken dream, the actor landed in Maui where his friend was waiting for him. There he got a job at Bubba Grump Shrimp. Since then, his life changed as he lived with his friend and had fun at the beach. Thus, before becoming a successful and well-known celebrity in the industry, Pratt had to go through a lot of trouble. When he was working at Bubba Grump Shrimp, people from Los Angeles saw him and asked him to star in a film.

However, this took time for him to work out. But finally, he got huge recognition by playing Andy Dwyer in Parks and Recreation. Now, we know him as an actor who has played some iconic and versatile roles throughout his career.
