There have been quite a few big reveals in the Netflix bighit, Harry and Meghan. Starting from their courtship days to raising their children together amidst the chaos, the Duke and the Duchess opened up about it all. However, what came as an even bigger surprise is Markle’s miscarriage. While close followers still had a whim of it, others had no clue about the Duchess conceiving for the second time. 

What also became the highlight throughout the show was the Sussex couple waging a downright war. Not particularly against the Royal family, but definitely against the publication DailyMail. Right from the beginning till the very end, the couple did not hold back to show how the tabloids made a drastic impact on their lives. What came as the most heart-wrenching news amidst all of it was Prince Harry blaming the tabloids, especially Mail for his wife’s miscarriage. 

Prince Harry blames Mail for Meghan Markle’s miscarriage 

In the final episode, the Duke revealed the Duchess suffered a miscarriage in July 2020. He did not make any explicit attacks in the bombshell series. However, the Prince made it very clear that the pressure of an ongoing battle with a publication and the resulting aggravating amount of stress undoubtedly contributed to Markle’s pain. Being the sole witness of everything Markle was going through, he said, “I believe my wife suffered a miscarriage because of what the Mail did”. 

Continuing further, he said, although it is not certain that Meghan Markle’s miscarriage was caused by that. However, considering the stress and the burgeoning pressure, accompanied by the lack of sleep, he confirmed it. The claims, however, cannot be warded off as all false. It is a well-established fact that the publication they called out keeps a ridiculously close tab on the couple, invading their privacy. So much that the publication dug up Markle’s letter to her father and made it public, leading to the lawsuit that the Sussexes eventually won.
