Back When Will Smith and Cast Paid Tribute to Uncle Phil to Kick Start the the ‘Fresh Prince of Bel Air’ Reunion
Reunions are always special, whether it’s your old school buddies or fellow workers with whom you have spent a lot of time in the past. And it becomes more heartwarming when the cast members of a beloved show sit down together after years to celebrate their memories. Full of nostalgia, warm feelings, and clip reels that highlight the moments they once lived on-screen. The gathering of the fan-favorite cast of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was something similar and we certainly cannot forget. Remember how Will Smith and his costars honored the memory of Uncle Phil to fill his absence on the reunion day?
Back in 2020, Will Smith reunited with his The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air gang who starred together in the acclaimed sitcom. This virtual gathering included his on-screen cousins Alfonso Ribeiro, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, and other castmates who were featured in the 90s show. The only person who missed this get-together was James Avery, who died in 2013 due to surgery complications.

Two years after the reunion marked the time when the Fresh Prince graced our screens once again, but this time, it wasn’t Will Smith who led the show.
