Back When Buckingham Broke a Royal Protocol by Actually Taking a Stance for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
As claimed by Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, in his star-studded court fight against the British press, Buckingham Palace has religiously followed the “never explain, never complain agenda.” In fact, while calling out the prime-time UK tabloids as “criminals,” the Duke also exposed how the Palace had some internal arrangements with the publications to let them get away with it. Nonetheless, it looks like Buckingham has an answer. It did, in fact, stood for the prince and his wife, Meghan Markle.

Regardless of how closely King Charles and Queen Camilla are associated with some of the tabloid moguls, they had also taken a bold stance against them for spreading fake news. Although quite unusual to the ears, they did, despite their own stringent rules of never acting against their wrongdoers. The incident dates back to the time Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were newly married and excitement for a baby Sussex was at an all-time high.
In light of the same, a rumor broke out of nowhere from Vanity Fair’s issues that the Duchess, along with the Duke, was planning to “raise their child with a fluid approach to gender.” Vanity Fair’s contributor, Katie Nicholl, also added that the Sussex couple will not be imposing any stereotypes on their firstborn. The news gave rise to multiple interpretations of the first Sussex baby given the already trenchant controversies that surround the parents.

However, taking a bold stance against the same, a Palace spokesperson made it clear to Hello magazine that, “This story is completely false.” It thus completely turned off the rumors about the fluid gender baby, once and for all. And that is not it. That was not the only time Buckingham stood up for its members.

Prior to the fluid baby controversy, the word was on the street that Kate Middleton “slapped down Meghan“ Markle. And, in fact, told her not to berate her members from Kensington. This time, the UK tabloid behind the groundless speculations was The Sun. Nonetheless, the palace prominently struck down the claims. Buckingham officials clarified with The Mirror that nothing of such a sort ever happened.
