Just a few weeks ago, thanks to actor Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, we got to know the episode count of the show and the runtime of the show. And it is the Canadian actor again who has revealed the budget of the show, making it one of the highest ones in Hollywood.

On the podcast, Handsome Genius Club, Paul chatted with Anthony Ruttgaizer. Avatar: The Last Airbender is a “hundred million dollar production,” according to the actor who will portray Iroh in the Netflix series.

Avatar News quickly obtained the interview, and the site now claims that Netflix’s live-action series has a budget of at least $120 million USD. Each episode is said to cost more than $15 million to produce.

Netflix hasn’t given any specific figures for this spending, but the rumor has fans excited. When everything is said and done, Avatar: The Last Airbender will be one of the most costly television series ever created.

The Morning Show, The Mandalorian, and Game of Thrones all have episode budgets of around $15 million. The only titles topping that budget are The Pacific, Amazon’s Lord of the Rings, and all of the MCU shows.

Netflix, on the other hand, will have a sure-fire hit on its hands if the risky investment pays out.
