The third season of the Netflix original exposed the betrayers. Geralt nearly died during his fight with Vilgefortz, which parted him with his adopted daughter. While Ciri is finding her way, Geralt and Jaskier are on their way to Nilfgaard to find her. And as the season ends with Geralt and Jaskier riding off in the sunset, it also sets the tone for the fourth season. As per Entertainment Weekly, the producer, Tomek Baginski, made a tremendous revelation about the main character in the fourth season. He revealed Freya Allen’s Ciri will be the center of the upcoming season.

Baginski went on to explain why Cirilla will take center stage. The Lion Cub of Cintra slowly discovered that she was the center of everything that was happening on the Continent. The viewers saw Ciri finding her power, which could be either good or bad. However, Ciri herself was not sure who she really was. So, the more she would explore her powers, the more questions she would have.

Finally, Princess Cirilla realized maybe she was supposed to be the villain of the story, not a Witcher nor the savior. Viewers also saw the young princess killing the men who caught her and joining the Rats. When the Rats asked her name, Ciri revealed it was Falka. With this side of Cirilla, the ending of the season set a path for Liam Hemsworth’s dramatic arrival.

During the Thanedd Coup at Aretuza, Ciri shattered the Tor Lara tower and descended through a portal to the Korath Desert. While wandering aimlessly in the desert, Cirilla got different visions. The desert scene is certainly the pivotal scene for Ciri’s story, according to Freya Allan as well.

Going through a lot alone, Cirilla will certainly need help from Geralt. Therefore, the Man of Steel actor’s exit has set a path for Hemsworth’s entry. Geralt has already taught Cirilla there would be consequences for killing humans.
