However, as Miles Morales returns to our screens after a nearly five years long hiatus, it has another good news for its fans. Not only are the upcoming projects, Beyond the Spider-Verse but also our imagination, as the live-action Spider-Man movie starring Miles Morales was said to be in the making.

Since the release of the first installment of the Spider-Verse animated movies, fans have been falling onto every web laid by the creators. And looks like Stranger Things writers have been keeping up with Miles Morales quite diligently, as they have a suggestion that could turn the Spider-Verse upside down.

Stranger Things writers have THE perfect Miles Morales in mind

One episode into Netflix’s Stranger Things and it becomes pretty evident that all actors are phenomenal beyond the years. And the writers of the show themselves believe that they are meant for greater things. This is why, as Amy Pascal’s hint at a live-action Spider-Man starring Miles Morales made the news, the Stranger Writes jumped to recommend Hawkins’ very own funny guy, Lucas Sinclair, played by Caleb McLaughlin.

There are several layers behind why the suggestion is iconic. Firstly, it will foray Caleb McLaughlin into the MCU and make him a Hollywood heavyweight. Secondly, he has got the acting chops required for the role.

Whether this was a harmless suggestion made by the clearly excited writers, or if it was a hint of what is to be, is still unclear. However, fans are elated because for once since Stranger Things season 4 have the writers matched their sentiments.

Fans react to Caleb McLaughlin’s probable Spider-Man casting

Miles Morales is the first non-white Spider-Man and probably the only Black Marvel superhero in Marvel following the demise of Chadwick Boseman. This is why it is absolutely crucial to get the casting right. And Caleb McLaughlin has not only the perfect age and face to be Spider-Man but also the expertise.

Fans were excited to see the Stranger writers themselves encourage and vouch for him. However, it seems like in their excitement; they overlooked a very important fact. Miles Morales and Caleb McLaughlin are both Black, however, the former has Hispanic heritage while the latter is purely American.

The Stranger Things actor himself during an interview acknowledged that he would be great in the role. However, he wants someone of true Afro-Latin descent to take on the role. And this has only added another point to the long list of why fans love him.
