From being a professional bodybuilder to the Governor of California, and the part where he became a blockbuster actor, Arnold Schwarzenneger has done a lot. And all the fields that he has stepped into, he does not fall short of being the best. When he was a bodybuilder, Arnold Schwarzenegger was considered to be the greatest of all time falling short of only Ronnie Coleman.

After conquering bodybuilding, Schwarzenneger moved to conquer the acting industry. Hits like Conan the Barbarian and the iconic science fiction movie The Terminator made him one of the most sought-after actors in Hollywood. And when he became the Governor of California in 2003, the actor juggled his million-dollar acting career on the side. However, there came a point when Arnold the governor and Arnold the movie star contradicted each other.

How Arnold Schwarzenegger fought his own ban?

For the unversed, video games are protected under the First Amendment of the Constitution which says “Congress make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting its free exercise”. And why this is relevant while speaking of Arnold Schwarzenneger because the actor after taking the office as the Governor in 2005 fought for the ban of video games on children under 18.

He also argued that beyond banning video games they need to have labeling from the ESRB. Additionally, this law proved to be a bane for the Terminator 3 video games the actor made millions from.

And not long after he retired from office, Arnold Schwarzenneger stepped foot into the same industry that his own bill harmed. The Terminator actor joined hands with Stan Lee for The Governator.

This deal consisted of comic books, tv series, and video games revolving around The Governator. The Governator in question poses Arnold Schwarzenegger as a caring and ordinary family man who fights the bad at night. And considering that it revolves around a fight between the good and bad it is unlikely that it will be devoid of any violence. Moreover, this is Schwarzenneger’s second video game project. He has contributed as a voice actor to all The Terminator games up until Terminator 3: War of the Machines. Additionally, the viewers did not spare Arnold from the irony of the fact that his onscreen kill count is around 509 when he vouched for the ban on violent video games.
