Arnold Schwarzenegger Becomes Santa, Continues 30-Year-Old Christmas Season Tradition

Arnold Schwarzenegger has been acting for more than three decades and has been a respectable politician who served as the Governor of California. And before that as well, he was a professional bodybuilder with seven Mr.Olympia titles under his belt. Furthermore, Schwarzenegger was winning medals left and right in bodybuilding for more than decades.

Apart from slaying it in every field he enters, there is something else that the actor has been doing for a few decades: Giving back to the people. Not just with his craft, but also by being the Games Executive Commissioner at the Hollenbeck Youth Center.

Hollencock Youth Center is a service for the kids of East Los Angeles. The center is responsible for holding Inner City Games that consist of sports such as basketball, swimming, boxing, softball, and running. Furthermore, the center also promotes children to do better in academics through art and essay contests and scholarships.

Schwarzenegger has been a pivotal part of the family for more than three decades now. This year the actor handed out about 10,000 toys to kids at the Hollenbeck Youth Center. But the kids were not the only ones getting a present. Schwarzenegger got to meet one of the people he admires the most.

To add the star on the Christmas tree, this year Schwarzenegger was joined by Danny Trejo. The former Governor of California tweeted about his relationship with the foundation for over three decades. And he referred to Danny Trejo as “an action hero with a huge heart.” Schwarzenegger further added that the best thing about the holiday season is giving back.

The former Governor of California, alongside Danny Trejo, truly did the work of an action hero by bringing joy to the kids, the majority of who will have the gift given by Schwarzenegger as their sole gift. The Terminator actor has been a huge believer in ‘giving back’ for a long time now.

Last year too, the actor purchased tiny homes worth $250,00 according to Business Insider, in order to provide shelter for veterans. This year marked the 41st Miracle on First Street event and, thanks to Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Trejo, the Christmas magic was as strong as new.
