Arcane Season 2 – What to Expect From the Renewed League of Legends Based Anime on Netflix?
Arcane must have been one of the few animes to justify its hype. Arcane checked all the right boxes for it to be such a hit among the fans and critics.
As the streaming giant has previously done the same for another popular series like “Squid Game“, it would have been quite surprising if Netflix wouldn’t have announced Arcane season 2.

The first season of Arcane focused on the classic story of rags vs. riches. The animated series has given enough footage to the feud between the futuristic region of Piltover and the oppressed underbelly of Zaun. But, these are the most basic plotlines, and the addition of family drama and the dark side of fantasy and romance makes it special.
While season one acts as a prequel to the much bigger “League of Legends” universe, it accurately showcases the complex relationship of the champion sisters Vi and Jinx. The show has equally emphasized the important characters like Jayce, Viktor, and Silco. Netflix released the nine-episode season in three acts, each comprising three episodes.
Arcane Season 2 details
Riot Games and Netflix have renewed the series for a second season, with no announcement of the dates. Thus, fans can only hope for the production to end swiftly and the series to release. Since the series left the fans on a cliffhanger, fans want to rest their thoughts for good. But, fans can take solace because the same cast will continue in the second season.
Hailee Steinfeld, Ella Purnell, and Katie Leung starred in Arcane as Vi, Jinx, and Caitlyn, respectively. Netflix and Riot Games made the announcement at the two-day Undercity Nights fan event.

The crew behind the camera will also remain the same as the first season. The executive producers of the show are Christian Linke, Mark Merrill, Brandon Beck, Jane Chung, and Thomas Vu. Christian Linke and Alex Yee are the co-creators of the show.
Fortiche Productions, a French company, handles the superb animation in the series. One of the reasons why the animation of the show looks completely different from others is that the series combines CGI and hand-drawn art styles.
