After a three-year wait, Netflix finally ended the suspense by announcing the second season of Arcane. Fans were left hanging after the first installment, as the battleground brewed with mercenaries caught between Powder and Vi. With the news of a second season, fans eagerly await answers to the many questions that have lingered, sparking a surge in fan theories. About four months ago, fans shared their theories in a Reddit post, compiling the biggest questions that await resolution in the upcoming season.

A Reddit post focusing on the central questions for Arcane season 2 surfaced months ago, covering inquiries ranging from Powder (Jinx)'s character development to whether Caitlyn and Vi will end up together this season. Furthermore, fans were left uncertain about the fate of the champions of Arcane following Jinx's bombing of the Piltover Council. Since the bombing could fuel an all-out war between Piltover and Zaun, fans have chosen the questions they definitely need answers to.

When the first season of Arcane concluded, Jinx diverged from Vi’s path, culminating in the bombing of the Piltover Council using the Hextech gemstone-turned-rocket launcher. While the finale did not disclose the Council's fate, the severity of the attack suggests significant casualties, likely derailing the fragile peace treaty.

This interruption to reconciliation efforts has spurred fans to speculate and discuss the unresolved cliffhangers, especially focusing on Jinx.

Jinx’s turn to the dark side from her initial identity as Powder, under Silco’s supervision, led the union of sisterhood with Vi astray. Hence, for users to choose their primary question, fans were stringent about the “ending. I'm really wanna know how they will end the series and the story of Jinx and Vi…”. Another fan showed curiosity, saying, “I'm interested in what will happen after the explosive finale of the first part so to speak. And what will happen to the characters of course.”

Some other animation enthusiasts were left in a dilemma about the situation between Caitlyn and Vi. A user, hence, questioned, “Will CaitVi happen.”. However, most were left in the hope that the sisters reunite as another fan echoed, “definitely want to know what happens to Vi and Jinx. I hope they both make it...though I'm probably being overly optimistic.” Yet, there was a fan who said, “I know this isn’t a big thing, but I really wanna see some flashbacks (even if they aren’t too clear) of Vi and Powder’s life before there parents died.” Although the first teaser of season 2 did not feature the sisters, given their diverged paths are the focus of the upcoming season, fans' inquiries might get jinxed all at once.
