Merely a few days are left for the release of The Witcher season 3 volume one. The viewers will see Henry Cavill, Anya Chalorta, Freya Allan, and Joey Batey as the center of the season. Along with these leads, there will be new characters as well in the upcoming season based on the Time of Contempt. However, it makes us question whether there will be other crucial characters reprising their roles from the previous seasons.

The Witcher saga is about to take a huge turn in the forthcoming season. It will see Geralt changing his traditional mindset about choosing a particular side. Moreover, while the third season will be closer to books, it is also bringing characters from the previous seasons to continue the tale. And from what is known,  the powerful duo of Sigismund Dijkstra and Philippa Eilhart are coming back in the third season.

Moreover, Istredd, portrayed by the British actor Royce Pierreson, Mimi M. Khayisa as Fringilla, and Triss Merigold portrayed by Anna Shaffer, are also going to be there in the forthcoming season. The Kovirian wizard and a master illusionist, Stregobor, will also be a part of The Witcher saga’s third installment. The central antagonist of the book series, Vilgefortz, also appears in season 3 of the Netflix drama, per Redanian Intelligence.

While these known characters will appear in the upcoming installment of the Netflix Original, there will be some fresh faces as well.

Which new faces will appear while Henry Cavill will star as Geralt for the last time in The Witcher 3?

While Cavill’s exit has fans in a pool of tears, the show will also feature some new characters. One of whom is Milva aka Maria Barring, who is a human portrayed by Meng’er Zhang. Milva is adopted by the dryads of Brokilon. Despite being in this season for a limited period, Milva will have great chemistry with Geralt of Rivia.

Hugh Skinner will appear as Prince Radovid, who will be romantically and intimately involved with Geralt’s trusted bard, Jaskier. He is the one who asks Jaskier to go with him to avoid listening to Valdo Marx. And this ultimately leads us to another new character, Valdo Marx. Nathan Laryea will portray the character who is Jaskier’s greatest rival. While fans are eager to witness the rivalry between these two bards, they also want to see how the third season is going to tell the tale of The Continent.
