Upon this exploration, Tissaia can not stop feeling guilty for everything that happened. Ultimately, she kills herself, while other mages are holding a funeral for the mages. The British actress opened up about Tissaia’s demise and revealed the world had become more lonely.

Tissaia and Yennefer shared a very special bond. Starting from a teacher-student relationship, their relationship developed as a mother and daughter. Therefore, Chalotra said the world would feel a lot more lonely because Yennefer would not have Tissaia looking after her. Moreover, after Tissaia’s departure, it would be Yennefer who would be responsible for everything.
