One thing that has really hooked fans in The Witcher is Henry Cavill's Geralt and his love story with Anya Chalotra's Yennefer of Vengerberg. Among the many plotlines in the series, the tangled relationship between Yennefer and Geralt has been a fan favorite. The sparks first flew in Season 1, Episode 5, Bottled Appetites, and it has been a major focus ever since. However, now that Liam Hemsworth has taken over from Cavill, fans have been wondering where the show will take this romance ahead. 

Now, however, it seems fans are finally starting to get where The Witcher creators are coming from. Just recently, they got a glimpse of the table read for Season 4, and Liam Hemsworth's interactions with Anya Chalotra in the snapshots triggered a big realization among fans. They felt that the 30-year-old actress appeared more at ease and genuinely happy with Hemsworth than she ever did on set with Henry Cavill, despite their acclaimed on-screen chemistry and mutual respect for one another as actors. 

Though a portion of the audience has felt that The Witcher has been on the decline since Season 1, this unique dynamic lent the last season a refreshingly wholesome vibe. Geralt and Yennefer acted as both loving and strict parental figures to Ciri. While this element did contribute to the magic of their romance, it is the other facet of their relationship that could be affected by the recasting. Hemsworth has big shoes to fill in capturing the love between Yennefer and Geralt, as well as the bond of this makeshift family.

Now, however, with fans witnessing the natural rapport between the two stars off-screen, they are becoming even more convinced about Liam Hemsworth's casting. 

The question that keeps popping up in everyone's mind is whether Anya Chalotra can replicate the same chemistry with Liam Hemsworth that she had with Henry Cavill. But, the actress has been quite upbeat about it. Just a couple of days before the much-anticipated release of The Witcher season 3, media outlet Variety caught up with the British actress about working alongside a new Geralt, and she expressed being "very excited to see" how it unfolds. And now, it seems, so are fans.

Fans also hit up X to voice their opinions on how they found Chalotra's chemistry with Hemsworth to be better.

Of course, there were still some struggling to picture Yennefer without Henry Cavill's Geralt. 

With a war against Nilfgaard looming, Yennefer and Geralt of Rivia must come together to protect Ciri, played by Freya Allan. The upcoming season, therefore, is set to highlight the close bond between Geralt and Yennefer. And with the chemistry already looking promising between Yennefer and the new Geralt, it is safe to say that The Witcher Season 4 is worth a shot for viewers.
