Zack Snyder is by far one of the best-known names in the directing industry. But the director/producer has always found himself caught up in controversies ranging from his films to his real life. Even then, one thing is certain for the Man of Steel director and that is his passion for visual storytelling. Whether you hate or love his work, no one can deny that the man is extremely talented.

Following the recent release of his Rebel Moon part one teaser, the director promised his fans that there would be another Syndercut coming real soon.

Zack Snyder reveals plans for a Rebel Moon Snyder-cut

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Zack Snyder has announced that he will be releasing another one of his most coveted Snyder-cuts. The director of 300 announced plans for the director’s cut of Rebel Moon. This comes after the release of the Rebel Moon teaser that seems to draw inspiration from another classic movie franchise.

Evidently, it did not come as a surprise to most fans, but there were still a few who did not understand why Zack Snyder would create a director’s cut for something that has not been completed yet. But given the director’s flare for going back to his movies to add things or change the story a little, it is not surprising that he explained the cut that he is working on currently already had “close to an hour of extra content.”

He even went on to call his cut “a legitimate extended universe version,” which will let viewers see a lot more than the original two-part films will. But unlike Snyder’s previous cuts, this time Netflix was willing to work with him on it instead of having him put up a fight.

Even though most directors’ cuts usually come out after a movie is released, fans of Zack Snyder know better than to be freaked out. Considering that this is not the first time that the director has received backlash for his plans, it is not surprising that he was not phased.

Zack Snyder mentioned that his director’s cuts, like the ones for his movies Sucker Punch, Dawn of the Dead, Justice League, and even Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, were all ones that he had to “fight for in the past and nobody wanted it.”

But just like the director, most of his fans are “really excited” about the upcoming Snydercut too. The last time they got one was in 2011 after his film Sucker Punch. Thankfully, the wait is not too long with Rebel Moon part one releasing on December 22nd.
