The crux of the second season of Tokyo Revengers, which managed to break records in views and also win hearts, was Takemich Hanagaki’s battle to protect Mikey. Given how season 2 of the anime followed the Christmas Showdown Arc, the third season will naturally be following the Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc. Ken Wakui gets out his best guns at this point in the storyline as he adds Black Dragon, the gang that pulled Tokyo Manji Gang to the evil side.
Season 3 will give Takemichi Hangaki another chance to save his girlfriend. That the third installment will be following the Tenjiku Arc guarantees a show-stopping season. As Takemichi Hangaki finds himself back in middle school and basically has another shot at rewriting the plot that we are familiar with, whether he will make it and if he does, what sacrifices are going to follow makes up the major question.
