Tokyo Revengers hit differently this season as it aired on International streaming platforms. That the anime was a work of art is a well-known fact among the members of the anime community, which only expanded further as this underdog became an International hit. Apart from its layered characters with intriguing backstories and its obviously spectacular plot, the subplots of Tokyo Revengers are gems. Fans are yet to get over the blockbuster finale of season 2 that aired on the 2nd of April. The crux of the second season of Tokyo Revengers, which managed to break records in views and also win hearts, was Takemich Hanagaki’s battle to protect Mikey. Given how season 2 of the anime followed the Christmas Showdown Arc, the third season will naturally be following the Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc. Ken Wakui gets out his best guns at this point in the storyline as he adds Black Dragon, the gang that pulled Tokyo Manji Gang to the evil side.

Season 3 will give Takemichi Hangaki another chance to save his girlfriend. That the third installment will be following the Tenjiku Arc guarantees a show-stopping season. As Takemichi Hangaki finds himself back in middle school and basically has another shot at rewriting the plot that we are familiar with, whether he will make it and if he does, what sacrifices are going to follow makes up the major question.

What is the season 3 release date?

Ken Wakui’s Tokyo Revengers has only now wrapped up its glorious second season. While season 3 of Tokyo Revengers has been announced, the official release date is yet to be confirmed. We will have to wait for further updates to know when the next season would arrive but since there was a two-year gap between seasons one and two, a good estimate would be a 2025 release for the next installment. However, things could speed up, as well.

Another good news apart from the confirmation of the season is Nobunaga Shimazaki voicing Izna Kurokawa and Tetsu Inada will be holding the mic for Kanji Mochizuki.
