“God, it’s tough. Look, I love that role deeply, it means so much to me,” he said. He thinks there could be many Steve Rogers with a story to tell but to him his experience was precious. And while it was a great time for him, playing Rogers, it didn’t make sense to him right now.
However, at this time returning to the character might not be a good idea because Rogers just handed over his shield to a young superhero. Now he is focusing on spending much time around his family and friends and fans seems to agree with him.
Fans show their support for Chris Evans
Fans are taking sides with their beloved superhero, asking people to let him take some rest. While others are urging him to just do some cameo appearances in the upcoming movies.
“His story ended off perfectly in Endgame, no need for a revival. Sam Wilson is now Captain America,” one fan commented.
The second fan remarked: “I agree with Chris Evans. Plus, Sam Wilson, being Captain America, is going to be so cool to see!”
While another wrote, “Just have the classic Avengers show up to help From another universe or timeline in the final Kang movie and I’ll be satisfied.”

I am comfortable with Steve never being Captain America again.
I do, HOWEVER, think it would be a missed opportunity if we never see him again in the MCU.

We only need 1 more movie: cap America: planet hydra. Future decendant of red skull goes back in time to grab red skull and bring him to the future. Young avengers go back in time to get cap after dropping stones and bring him to the future. We find old man Sam, and the kids.

Give me a 6 episode series of him returning the Stones and I'd be perfectly satisfied. He doesn't need any more stories that drive the future of the MCU timeline
