Though the six-episode show intrigued the royal fans, it has invited a lot of criticism and trolling. It might come as a shock, but an Australian citizen has claimed himself to be the third son of the monarch alongside Prince Harry and Prince William. Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September, a 56-year-old man named Simon Charles Dorante-Day caused an uproar by revealing that he is the estranged son of the king and Queen Consort Camilla. Speaking of the highly popular Netflix docuseries, Simon Charles Dorante-Day hailed the Duke and Duchess for being refreshing and honest. King’s alleged son believes that through their docuseries, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have raised serious questions. He also trolled the royal experts and journalists for criticizing the Sussexes. 

“They raise some interesting questions and the reaction to them, from the obvious media pundits, has been overtly nasty, divisive, and hypocritical from my perspective – the media pundits are obviously ‘on a mission’,” Dorante-Day said as quoted by The News.

Simon Charles Dorante-Day further slammed the UK press for their hypocrisy. The 56-year-old believes that the royal experts did not have any problem with the Sussex royal when he was playing the third cog to Prince William and Kate Middleton. Meanwhile, this is not the first time that the alleged prince has favored Prince Harry.

In October, he had expressed his desire to share a good bond with the Sussexes. Dorante-Day believes that he and Prince Harry can relate to each other, as they both are the black sheep of the royal family.
