In fact, the streamer announced that his Las Vegas-set show will expand this universe but gave no updates.

Zack Snyder recently took to Vero, an algorithm-free social network to respond to a user. In the post, the fan had asked if the series was “dead dead,” to which the director responded with “No”. The page that goes by Snyder Netflix Updates shared the news on X, formerly Twitter. This update might have finally put people’s minds to rest who have been wondering about the show.

This subtle reaction, however, does not confirm if the Justice League director has been working on it or not. It only provides hope to fans who started thinking that the show has gone forever, considering the last time he talked about it was in March 2023. During his appearance on the podcast show, The Nerd Queens, Snyder revealed the project got stalled due to some technical issues.

As of now, the American creator has been focusing on his upcoming film Rebel Moon. The streamer will reveal the brand-new trailer of the movie at the Geeked Week on the weekend. He also reminded fans that the first look will debut during the America’s Game of the Week matchup between the NY Giants and the Dallas Cowboys. The 57-year-old will be present at the Netflix Geeked Week 2023 which promised exclusive news, sneak peeks, and surprises.

This film focuses on the life of a lone-wolf rebel soldier Kora who found a new home in a peaceful agrarian colony named Veldt. But when her community faces the threats of invasion, she sets out on a journey to find warriors from neighboring planets to take a stand. So fans can catch this amazing adventure coming on December 12, while waiting for further updates on the Army of the Dead franchise.
