And that was Wednesday starring Jenna Ortega, who already received her first Emmy nomination, thanks to the show.
While Wednesday was nominated for the Golden Film/TV of the Year, Jenna Ortega was also nominated for the Golden Actor of the Year award. All the other nominees are big names like Margot Robbie and her most recent project, which broke the internet, Barbie.
But that was not all. Netflix has been putting up show after show to ensure their viewers are entertained, and this has resulted in a win for them with Jenna Ortega’s tremendous achievement. But while the star is finally getting the recognition she deserves for her role, the actress has already accepted her next roles and has left her fans wanting more.

While Ortega might be well known for her role in the Netflix series, You and Wednesday. But following the actress’s success in the film industry, it comes as no surprise that she has already been offered her next projects. The Wednesday star is set to take the screen again for Beetlejuice 2 and Finestkind.

While Finestkind drifts away from the usual roles Ortega takes up, it will give viewers more of a look into her acting range. It focuses on the story of two brothers who reunite to fight organized crime, but a young woman ends up being caught in the middle. The film also stars huge names like Tommy Lee Jones from Men in Black and is set to be released on September 8th.

And Beetlejuice 2 is set to be released in 2024, with Jenna Ortega coming in as Winona Ryder’s daughter in the film. The stars fans have already taken to Twitter with excitement to see what the actress can bring to these characters.
