A lot of excerpts were leaked a week before the official release, but they had no negative impact on the business. Bombshell might be a small word to describe the content of Spare, as the Duke did not spare any details, whether good or bad, about the royal family. Meanwhile, Buckingham Palace should prepare itself for another attack as sources now suggest a memoir by Meghan Markle.

The Sussexes have a four-book deal with Penguin Random House and Prince Harry’s memoir was the first installment of the same. It is a strong rumor that Meghan Markle is planning a juicier book as a part of the contract to unveil her side of the story. Many royal experts have condemned the idea, saying that the memoir will not fetch many readers. However, Peter Cox does not share the same sentiment.

Meghan Markle can bask in unprecedented success with her memoir

The renowned author Peter Cox believes that Meghan Markle will easily leapfrog Prince Harry’s Spare sales numbers with her memoir. The book might fail to impress the British audience as they have been put off by the Sussex royal’s constant attacks on the royal family. There has also been a dip in her popularity in the United Kingdom. However, the same cannot be said for American readers. 

The memoir will fascinate people in the United States as they love reading love stories. Cox compared Meghan Markle’s life to that of a Disney story as she encountered a bunch of wicked people in the form of royal family members in the process of living a happily ever after with the love of her life. 

“In America, it will sell like hotcakes. Because her story is a classic fairytale, and Americans are suckers for fairytales. From humble beginnings and a broken home, Meghan rises to find true love with, the prince of her dreams. That is pure Disney,” Peter Cox said in an interaction with the Express.

Meanwhile, the renowned author also advised Meghan Markle to opt for good professional advice in order to make her memoir a big hit.
