No one would have remembered Chris Rock’s subtle jibes at Will Smith’s wife at the Oscars in a few days. However, it was the King Richard star and his outrage at the stage; the smack across Chris Rock’s face, which made the incident immortal for ages. Although there have been a series of apologies and countless back and forth between the two. But the jokes, throwbacks, and recreations have become unforgiving for Will Smith for not putting a lid on his feelings that night.
Apart from eminent stars and comedians like Trevor Noah, Jimmy Fallon, and the rest, we, at last, had artificial intelligence sharing its two cents on the infamous incident. Following the recent Oscar back-to-back jibes by the eminent host, Jimmy Kimmel, now we have an “AI guy” taking his turn to smash the Emancipation star. Basically, the slapgate has been reduced to mere meme material for the internet, for AI as well.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Barsee, an AI expert, had the slapgate images recreated, but this time from Will Smith’s point of view. While the entire world witnessed him fuming with anger at the comedian for having joked about his wife, we never thought about what it actually felt to be Will Smith in that heat of the moment. And needless to say, the prompts actually hit places where they should not.
The Will Smith Oscar Slap Gate but make it AI, a thread
As if the drama at Oscars 2022 was not enough, the AI just added some extra spice to the entire fiasco on his own. And we would be lying if we said it was inaccurate. The hype around the slap gate has taken it into such a position that no level of drama or controversies will ever be enough to get over it. Fans, meanwhile, have been truly enjoying the free entertainment.

Someone so shocked at the images event commented sarcastically that AI is soon going to “take us back to communism.”

Damn stuff like this just always reminds why the 90’s/early 2000’s prolly the last good era cause the world we heading into with shit like this leading the way just spells for a reality where we won’t even know what’s real anymore https://t.co/3zClBMA0fD

“The Oscar award ceremony in the background, fine art cinematic portrait photography and ultra hyper-realism,” really did justice to what it could have been from Smith’s side of the story. The Midjourney AI, as used by the expert to create the thread, is undoubtedly the “beast of meme-making indeed.”
Nonetheless, some even expressed their disgust at the same, claiming it to be meaningless.
