Ahead of the Release of ‘Hustle’, Adam Sandler’s 26 Years Old Sports Comedy Continues in Netflix’s Top 10

Adam Sandler is one of the most hilarious guys in the industry. He has been making the whole world laugh with his films for well over thirty years and has been doing stand-up since he was just 17! So if there is any guy in any film industry who knows what people like and what they’ll laugh at, it has to be Adam Sandler.

Probably that is why his films are more rewatchable than any other actor. His comedy and jokes transcend time and even decades. And just weeks before his new Netflix Original film release, an old sports comedy of Adam’s is trending in the top 10. Find out which below.

Adam Sandler is already trending on Netflix

The whole world is waiting or Adam to return to their screens with his sports drama film Hustle which releases on 3rd June. However, die-hard Sandler fans could not wait that long. That’s why they have been watching an old classic of the actors.

For almost three weeks now, Happy Gilmore, which was first released in 1996, has been trending on Netflix’s top 10 charts.

What’s the film about?

In Happy Gilmore, a man with a harsh, aggressive core and a surprisingly soft center, Adam Sandler stars in one of his funniest performances. Gilmore is forced to come up with $270,000 after learning that his grandma has lost her home owing to unpaid taxes.

Gilmore can’t skate worth a penny, despite the insane hockey player’s thundering slap shot, and so looks for other ways to generate money for his adored grandma. Happy rises through the ranks of the golf circuit under the coaching of “Chubbs,” an ex-pro golfer who lost his hand to an alligator.

Even after almost 26 years, the film remains a great watch for the whole family and is a film you should definitely check out.

Others on the list

Dominating the top 10 list for the second week in a row is Senior Year, followed by A Perfect Pairing and Our Father in second and third place, respectively.
