In Happy Gilmore, a man with a harsh, aggressive core and a surprisingly soft center, Adam Sandler stars in one of his funniest performances. Gilmore is forced to come up with $270,000 after learning that his grandma has lost her home owing to unpaid taxes.
Gilmore can&#8217;t skate worth a penny, despite the insane hockey player&#8217;s thundering slap shot, and so looks for other ways to generate money for his adored grandma. Happy rises through the ranks of the golf circuit under the coaching of &#8220;Chubbs,&#8221; an ex-pro golfer who lost his hand to an alligator.
