Ahead of New Netflix Series, New Zealand Prime Minister Issues Statements Washing Her Hands Off Harry and Meghan’s ‘Live to Lead’

Lately, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have become pioneers of social welfare and development. Ever since they left their Royal Base in the UK, their sole motive and occupation have been organizing and hosting campaigns to lead a helping hand to the needy. Although their personal life was taking a toll on the couple, they have always strived forward with their legacy. However, it seems like their allies did not reciprocate the same way to them.

After settling down in the US, the Sussex couple gathered a whole lot of support and courage from personalities worldwide. Starting from Hollywood actors to Popstars, most of them had the couple’s back. Even the first lady of Canada had also bestowed her love and support for the couple in times of major crisis. The New Zealand Prime Minister on the other hand has seemingly distanced herself from the emerging couple.

Recent DailyMail reports have claimed that Jacinda Arden has released a statement through her official account expressing her indifference to Harry and Meghan. This came in light of the latest Netflix release led by the Duke and the Duchess which is due on the 31st of December. In the said series, leading personalities of the world shed light on their work in contributing to society. With the first glimpse of the Nelson Mandela-inspired series, it was found that the New Zealand Prime Minister appeared in a part adding her opinion to the series. 

Ahead of its release, Jacinda Arden has said that there was no communication with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex before the preview. According to her claim, she was never asked for permission to air her part on a global platform. They never “approached” her regarding anything about the series, her office claimed. She further added that the interview included in the forthcoming series called, Live To Lead, had actually taken place three years ago

In a short segment of the official trailer, Arden affirmed her statements saying, “As leaders, we have the key to create a sense of security and a sense of hope“. Nevertheless, she has evidently withdrawn from Harry and Meghan Markle’s campaign. The Sussexes are yet to comment or respond to the same.
