For nine months now, The Witcher fans have been holding out for an update on how the show would be moving on from Henry Cavill’s Geralt. Although that storyline has remained a mystery, reports from Redanian Intelligence revealed that director Sergio Mimica-Gezzan of Battlestar Galactica and Prison Break fame has joined the show. However, it was unconfirmed whether he would only be participating in the fourth season or more.
With the fantasy series known to display the work of different directors, fans expect this season to be no different. However, none of the other creators of the project have been revealed yet. Regardless, with the series set to come out sometime in 2025, there seems to be more than enough time to get other directors apart from Mimica-Gezzan onboard for the Anya Chalotra starrer to add even more variety to the slate.
Liam Hemsworth’s debut appearance has fans intrigued, although, the focus on another well-known storyline could make room for more anticipation.

Since The Witcher came out in 2019, the world has been hooked on Henry Cavill’s sword-wielding Geralt of Rivia. The show seemed to be growing in popularity throughout its first and second seasons. However, the actor shocked his fans when he announced down from the role, months ago. Although the series chose to continue with Liam Hemsworth picking up the role, they shone the spotlight on Freya Allan’s Ciri.
The character had been on the scene since the beginning of the beloved show. However, the creators focused on her development arc in season four. With the once-sheltered princess proving herself a formidable warrior, she will take center stage for everything set to unfold in the upcoming season.
