Ahead of ‘Bridgerton’ Season 3, Netflix Teases the First Look At a Much Awaited Coupling
Since 2020, Netflix's Bridgerton has caught the attention of various audiences with its rather intoxicating blend of romance, scandal, and intrigue all set against the backdrop of Regency-era London. Just like the last two seasons of the show have centered on new romances like the courtship of Daphne Bridgerton and the Duke of Hastings, Simon Basset, and even the intense relationship of Kate Sharma and Antony Bridgerton, the new season too, will be centered on a new coupling that fans have been waiting for.
With the third season of the series set to release in a few months, the streaming giant chose to hype up the show with a surprising scene that could send fans into a frenzy.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Netflix gave fans a look at the third Bridgerton boy, Colin, and Penelope Featherington aka Lady Whistledown in the upcoming season 3 of the show. The clip showed Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton's characters in front of a mirror as their fingers intertwined on the actress' shoulder. While no words were spoken, the scene was intense enough to have the streamer caption it with "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH," and a half-crying emoji.
The caption was rather similar to the reactions fans had after the clip made its way online. While the news already broke that the audience would finally be getting to see the so-called friends getting together, the steamy scene took the excitement for the season to a whole new level. Thankfully, fans will not have to wait too long before they get to see the coupling in all its glory when the first part of the season drops on May 16th, followed by the second on June 13th.
Although Bridgerton fans seem excited to see Polin's story unfold before their eyes, some fans have not been too pleased that the show has deviated from its inspiration.

Netflix's Bridgerton series has been adapted from the written works of author Julia Quinn. With 8 books in the franchise, fans were hoping to see the stories play out the way they had in the books. However, that has not been the case. While the streamer brought the first and second installments of the writer's novels to life, it skipped over the third book to focus on the story of Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton.
Although the media company chose to wrap up the stories of its existing characters before adding any new additions, not all fans were pleased with the decision. Thankfully, the streamer chose not to listen to them and gave their other fans exactly what they wanted.
