Following his cameo in Spiderman: No Way Home and an extended part in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Daredevil is now certainly a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But now Daredevil actor Charlie Cox hopes to see Daredevil share screen space with Wade Wilson and Wolverine once in the fourth-wall-breaking comedy movie, Deadpool. He said, “I think because of the tone of our show, I think that there’s a place for Daredevil to show up in Deadpool,” at the German Comic-con winter event.
Considering the contrast in their tones, the crossover can be a bit jarring. Matt Murdoch’s adventures have a darker tone, while Deadpool is a meta-comedy. But if Marvel can make it work, it is a win for the fans. Matt is more than capable of vibing with Wade Wilson after he showed off his comedic side in She-Hulk. Moreover, he is seemingly hinting at the Daredevil reboot having a much lighter tone than the Netflix Originals. It is based on the comic arc of Mayor Fisk.
