Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left their Royal base in the UK and shifted to the latter’s native country in the USA, the erupting controversies have been countless. While many demand them to give up on their remnant of titles, others have been charging them with treason. However, the ones that lay in shambles beneath the media fiasco were the reaction of the ones on the throne. Reportedly, the Monarchy at Buckingham was not welcoming of this step taken by the self-exiled couple.

Although their official press release stated that they extend their full support to the couple, nothing of such happened in reality. In fact, the senior members of the royal family have been totally indifferent to the Sussexes. And as if condemning them was not enough, reports have it that the present royals even had a rude nickname for both of them.
The Royal Associates had a different name to address Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
The Mailplus on Sunday made some serious revelation from an excerpt from the book, Elizabeth: An Intimate Portrait. It revealed some cheeky names that have been assigned to Harry and Meghan. It says whenever there arises any topic of discussion about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, courtiers often seem to disrespect the duo. They usually “flinch and change the subject” or refer to them as “persons who live overseas”.

Apart from the official staff members, even the Sovereigns never showed any particular likeness towards the Sussexes. More information from the novel reveals that when the Royals often repeat their statements about the couple. It is always a good luck wish for their future and nothing else. However, before the media, the family has come together time and again to cover any cracks between the families.
For instance, following the sad demise of the Late Queen, the Sussexes rushed to the palace to stand with the family in times of sorrow and grief. These revelations come amidst the spiraling controversies revolving around Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir, Spare.
