Carved out of Andrzej Sapkowski’s Sword of Destiny, The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep is set to be another animated spin-off in the rising collection of side tales to emerge from the Witcherverse. What excited fans even more than the prospect of watching the anime was that Cockle was going to be voicing Geralt in it! When Netflix announced this update, netizens erupted in jubilation around the world.
Especially since the show’s enthusiasts have lost the fan-favorite lead from the Netflix series, Henry Cavill, this news brought back hopes of The Witcher world that still held remnants of its glorious past. The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep will follow a quest that Geralt undertakes with Essi Daven from A Little Sacrifice chapter in Sapkowski’s book and arrive on Netflix sometime next year.
