The Free Guy actor is working day and night toward the success of his blockbuster superhero series, Deadpool. Set for a 2024 release, the third installment is pushing Gambit’s character alum to make a cameo in the movie.

Tatum was to get his character’s solo movie back in 2016, but after Disney acquired the character and decided to shelve the project, his dream never came true. However, as the reports suggest, the Canadian actor is in full mood to bring the 21 Jump Street actor back to the superhero world.

Ryan Reynolds wants a Channing Tatum cameo in Deadpool 3?

Notably, As per a rumor circulated by Scooper DanielRPK (via CBR), Ryan Reynolds is lobbying for Tatum to appear in Deadpool 3. Anyway, it is just a flying tabloid yet and we do not know what character he might play. It doesn’t sound like Gambit is a lock, though. The actor might enter the MCU as a completely new character, dashing his Gambit dreams.

However, it could be fruitful to pass on his favorite Cajon mutant character, as there are many other fantastic heroes and villains he can bring to life. Tatum has previously expressed his disappointment in missing out on his superhero role and how the cancelation of the movie caused him immense trauma. He even swore not to watch any Marvel movie because he just loved the character too much.

These rumors come after the rumored involvement of pop music sensation Taylor Swift in the upcoming Marvel film due to the similarity of the location where the singer’s All Too Well and Ryan Reynolds’ announcement video were shot.
