After ‘Stranger Things’, Sadie Sink to Reprise Her Role as Grieving Sister in ‘Dear Zoe’
Career has just begun to bloom for fan favorite Sadie Sink. The actress worked on several projects before Stranger Things, but none that brought her into the limelight this way. Post the success of the Netflix Original, the actress has a lineup of some great projects in well-deserving roles, expanding her horizons on both small and big screens.
She has appeared in the Fear Street trilogy and recently, in Taylor Swift’s short film All Too Well. The 20-year-old was a young teen when she first appeared in the Duffer Brothers sci-fi show. Her powerful role as Max Mayfield garnered her a lot of attention and appreciation. Especially in the episode, Dear Billy, where she writes a letter to her dead step-brother. She will now reprise her role as a sister in the new emotional movie Dear Zoe.

Sadie Sink once again channels sisterly love in Dear Zoe

After the success of Netflix’s sci-fi show, Sadie Sink is set to play the lead in Dear Zoe. Philip Beard’s 2005 novel Dear Zoe will be the basis of the upcoming family drama. The novel writer is happy to see his hometown of Pittsburgh will be showcased in the movie. The film’s trailer was dropped recently, and it looks super heartwarming.
The Gren Wells creation revolves around a coming-of-age girl Zoe as she is trying to bond with her family especially her father Rossi, after a loss. From the trailer we see, the movie tells her story of struggles with painful realities and the process of healing. Along the sidelines is her neighbor Collins, who supports her and the wonderful dynamic that they share. This heart-wrenching movie is sure to connect with viewers as Sadie demonstrates her ability to play an emotionally touching character.

Along with Sink, the movie also casts Vivien Lyra Blair, Theo Rossi, and Kweku Collins. Will the movie be a hit at the box office? We do not know.
