As chaos erupted at the DC franchise after James Gunn and Peter Safran took over, the future of many celebrities, including that of Ben Affleck, faced doubts and uncertainty. The DC fandom has been curious to see whether Affleck will don his Batman suit. In the meantime, we might witness the actor take a new challenge elsewhere. 

When we talk about versatile actors, one can not forget about Ben Affleck. The Way Back actor has given the audience a plethora of memorable roles. Throughout his career, Affleck has experimented with various genres of films and was successful at nailing them. And recently, rumors of Affleck’s potential project have been making the rounds. During his The Hot Mic appearance, John Rocha revealed that we might witness Ben Affleck in an upcoming Safdie Brothers project. Meanwhile, it is unclear whether the Gone Girl star will take over as the lead or play a supporting role. 

We are no strangers to the fact that the Safdie Brothers have given the audience some very memorable projects over the years. Some renowned projects under their belt include Uncut Gems and Good Time. And after nearly three years, the Safdie Brothers are planning to make a comeback to the big screens. Even though the exact details of the project are yet to be revealed, the casting speculations have been interesting. Apart from Affleck, other cast members also include rapper Megan Thee Stallion and the Hustle star Adam Sandler.

However, as of late, any further detail about the project are still under wraps. The reports further suggest that the upcoming film by is going to be a Netflix project. Meanwhile, the streamer is yet to comment on the production details of the film.

Other upcoming projects starring Ben Affleck

It seems like Affleck fans might be witnessing the actor in several projects in the upcoming years. The Batman Vs Superman star will be appearing in cameo scenes for two of the upcoming DC projects. As DC plans to enter its new era, we will witness Affleck grace our screens donning his Batman suit.

Apart from The Flash and Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom, the actor has not yet announced any other projects as of late. Not long ago, Affleck’s sports drama film Air premiered and will release worldwide on 5th April.
