The Eiichiro Oda directorial not only won hearts but also brought the streaming giant back into the spotlight as a power mill for effortless productions. Not looking to hang its boots anytime soon, the streamer is setting its sight straight on its next two big bets in the form of Arcane and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Carrying in tow, one animation and a live-action, each with an intricate history, Netflix might be looking to stay wary of keeping up with fans’ expectations.

The second season of the animated series has the first and foremost goal of continuing its triumphant run of a rare 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating. The steampunk action-adventure lands on Netflix in November 2024. Additionally, it shall expand and detail the massive cliffhanger around its characters’ fate after its predecessor.

Preceded by months, a bigger test awaits the streaming giant with a live-action adaptation. Due for release in February 2024, Avatar: The Last Airbender will bring to life the 2005 animated series of the same name. Basking with the theme of world peace and towing in Asian culture, the live-action aims to again win the hearts of a diverse audience. Additionally, with its storyline of love, duty, honor, and redemption, the show stands to offer a glimpse at worlds ravaged by wars.

One common reason that bound all three was a lack of respect for the source material. However, it looks like Netflix learned its lesson and rectified the same with One Piece.
