Though the creators previously promised they would wrap up the shooting by 2023, things turned out opposite of what they planned. When writers left their desks on May 2 to join the pickets, the Duffer Brothers supported their decision and locked their creative room too. Since then, the only thing that fans of the show have prayed for was for the strike to end so they can meet their beloved characters for the final showdown. Now, moments after the joyous announcement from the WGA Union, the writers of the series have shaken the internet with their words.</p>
<p>The official account of Stranger Things Writers recently rolled out a tweet. In this tweet, they dropped a photo that read &#8220;We&#8217;re back&#8221;. Through this post, the team informed users that they had resumed the work and the scripts would be ready in some time. They wasted no time and rushed to the internet right after the WGA Board revealed the strike had finally come to an end. It took them almost five months to reach this point, which <a href="https://www.netflixjunkie.com/netflix-news-along-with-stranger-things-another-millie-bobby-brown-project-falls-prey-to-delays-at-netflix-alongside-many-more/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">majorly affected the projects like this horror drama</a>.</p>

<p>All the committee members have voted &#8220;unanimously&#8221; and said yes to the tentative agreement with the studios and streamers. The 94-page contract includes new conditions, such as better pay for screenwriters and limited usage of AI. The only thing that remains now is the official approval of writers who will vote in October. However, this does not stop them from getting back to their respective posts and they can vote while working.</p>
