It was just a few days back that the snaps of Kate Middleton wearing Meghan Markle-inspired outfits went viral on social media. The fans were floored by the number of times the Princess of Wales copied her sister-in-law. Meanwhile, Middleton is not the only royal to draw inspiration from the Duchess of Sussex. During Christmas 2022 Countess of Wessex and Forfar, Sophie Wessex, stunned in an outfit that had glaring similarities with the one worn by Meghan Markle years ago.

For her appearance at St Mary Magdalene Church on Christmas this year, Sophie Wessex opted for a cream-color long coat. The royal paired it up with stiletto boots, an envelope clutch, and a boater hat. The Countess of Wessex looked mesmerizing in her attire. However, seeing her look, the fans were instantly reminded of the outfit donned by Meghan Markle for her first Christmas with the royal family. In 2017, Markle made heads turn by opting for a camel coat. She accessorized her outfit with a Chloe bag, Stuart Weitzman boots, snowflake diamond earrings, and a brown hat.

Meghan Markle celebrated Christmas at Sandringham with the royal family only twice. She had only good things to say about her first Christmas meeting as Prince Harry’s girlfriend in 2017. In the docuseries, the former actress revealed that she loved the vibe of celebrating the festival with a big family.
For her first Christmas after marriage in 2018, the Duchess looked ethereal in a navy blue dress. It was also the last festival for the Suits alum with the royal family. The Sussexes were in the United States during Christmas 2019, while they quit royal life in January 2020.
