Gimme, gimme more, gimme more, gimme, gimme more….. privacy. If there is one pop star whose fight for privacy and control over life has won the race like a turtle, it is that of pop Queen Britney Spears. And judging by the fact that her husband is once again pleading with fans for privacy, the fight is not over. The pop singer had a very public mental health crisis when she shaved her head as the paparazzi continued to hoard her. The horrifying picture is now subject to countless memes.

While what this says about us as a society is a different subject, but for Britney Spears, all it means is that she was not treated right. And considering how many of us were first introduced to the horrors of conservatorship through her, it is safe to say we all believe she got the shorter end of the stick when it came to righteous treatment.

While after supposed fifteen years of abuse, the conservatorship ended in 2021, fans of Spears are still unsure. The subject of their worry is Britney Spears’ erratic Instagram posts. Fans just can’t help but feel there is something fishy still going on behind the curtains. But after she suddenly deactivated her Instagram, which she actively uses, fans had proper reasons to be concerned. It wasn’t just the fact that Spears deactivated her Instagram, but the onslaught of weird posts that followed it.

Why did Britney Spears deactivate her Instagram?

In a bizarre turn of events, Britney Spears started sharing sweet messages for her family on Instagram. Now, had this been anyone else, we wouldn’t have batted an eye. But this is Britney Spears we are talking about here. The same Britney Spears who was talking about how she was mentally abused and tortured by her family more than fifteen years just months ago.

Now, for her to suddenly call the sister who did “nothing” her “heart“, has fans scratching their heads. This would have been understandable if it came around New Year’s and Spears was deciding on “moving on” as her new year’s resolution, but that was not the case. Thankfully, her husband of five….months has decided to speak up.

After Spears’ deactivating and then again activating her Instagram account, following the loving messages to the family she wanted to sue, Asghari has spoken up. This is not the first time the singer’s Instagram posts have raised questions about her mental health. Many believe that even Sam Asgari is somehow manipulating the singer. However, much like any Internet conspiracy theory, this one too does not have any evidence.

Regarding her recent Instagram activity, the singer’s husband only responded with his own plea for privacy. The model wrote,She has her voice and is a free woman“. And that the only reason she hasn’t been attending red-carpet events is that it is too “stressful” for her. He further added, “I have respect for her privacy and I protect it at all costs“. Now whether fans believe him is a matter of discussion reserved for Twitter but kudos to Asghari for taking a stand for his wife.
