Fans have always counted this mage among some of the most powerful sorcerers on the Continent. In fact, she has so much potential that the emperor of Nilfgaard wanted her to be on his side, which happened, eventually. Although she does not showcase her powers often, once infuriated, she can become an unstoppable force.

Fans got a glimpse of powers in season 2 when she set off a massive ring of fire on Aretuza castle. Seeing her husband Filavandrel killed in front of her eyes, she went into a frenzy and killed many mages. That scene has become one of the most iconic moments of the fantasy drama that viewers loved. So considering her determination to free elves and ferocious nature, there is a huge chance she can fight off Vilgefortz.

Francesca knows about the killer of her baby

Francesca believed for a long time that the mages of Aretuza had her baby killed in the womb. However, at the end of season 3, she found out about the actual murderer. After surviving the massive battle, Francesca went to Nilfgaard with Fringilla to meet Ciri’s father, Emhyr. There, Fringilla told her he was the one who had her baby killed and tried to set her up for this sinful act.

After losing everything she loved, the character has only left with her life was revenge. “He does not know the meaning of suffering. But he will,” said the eleven queen in episode 8. This means that she would plan to destroy him and the people who support him, including Vilgefortz, to avenge the death of her family and people.
