Many thought that it was a fitting farewell for the actor who went out swords blazing. While others thought this could have been better, considering he has been portraying this role for years. Now, days after his final display of action, the show has got another bad news for the audience who were dealing with this casting switch.

Though the exact cause remains unclear, the ongoing double strike is considered the reason behind this postponement.

No final dates are revealed when the filming will start in 2024, but looking at the previous season, it would take about 14 months for it to arrive on the small screen. Season 3 began shooting on 31 March 2022 and wrapped up on 12 September 2022, after which comes post-production and promotional stuff. However, the thing that has been bothering fans is how season 4 will deal with replacement.

Many expected that season 3 will bring something that justifies the change in Geralt’s looks. The White Wolf barely made it back to life after his battle with the mage Vilgefortz, but it did not affect his face. So this big question still remains a mystery for millions of viewers.
