After Harry Styles SPIT-gate, Chris Pine Again Ridiculed for Comments on Hugh Grant & Daniel Craig’s “Marriage”
It seems like celebrities are in a trend to make it to the headlines because of something they say. While Kanye West seems to maintain the status throughout, others enter and exit time and again. One such American star who is currently keeping up with the vogue is Wonder Woman actor, Chris Pine.
Just a few months earlier, back in September, Pine winked at the debate about whether his cast-mate, Harry Styles, spat on him at Don’t Worry Darling’s Venice premiere and press conference. And now, with yet another project, he is making it to the news for commenting on Daniel Craig and Hugh Grant’s on-screen marriage. He perhaps thought that the Knives Out actors are truly married to each other and ever since the internet got a reason to mock the A-list star.

Chris Pine finds himself the subject of internet ridicule after his naïve statement about the James Bond couple
If you avidly keep up with the James Bond movies, you must know that Hugh Grant played Daniel Craig’s husband. So, apparently, in a recent discussion with Collider for their upcoming movie, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Grant confirmed that his character, Philip is indeed Benoit Blanc’s husband saying, “it is true, I’m married to James Bond.”
Listening to this, Chris Pine immediately and naively reverted, “Oh f*ck man, I didn’t know that!” He then went on to ask if his co-star was credited in the film. So he seemingly knew they were talking about the movie. Nonetheless, Twitteratis found it rather funny and are spamming on the social media platform, making fun of the actor. You can have a look at some of those below:
One of the fans claimed it is the funniest thing they have heard in the entire week.
Another fan describes their emotion with a perfect emoji:
One more says the incident lives in their head “rent free”
