Stranger Things is getting increasingly intense and interesting. The much anticipated season of one of Netflix’s biggest shows is still far from its release. But new updates and insights add to the excitement of how it could upscale the previous seasons and bring a beautiful end to the much-loved series. While actors like Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, and Finn will reprise their roles, the series will have interesting faces working both on and off camera.

While the surviving characters will make a return, a new addition was announced. The Terminator actress Linda Hamilton has become the newest face to join the cast. Her confirmation was announced during the Tudum event. She was introduced by none other than her former co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger. The actress seemed excited to announce her entry, being a fan of the series herself. And now there is yet another cherry on the top with the addition of another member. But this time, it is a director of The Boys fame.

All eyes are on the makers as the ending of Stranger Things begins. The series will not only see new actors but add the experience of The Boys director Dan Trachtenberg as well. The famed director has created several hits such as Prey, The Boys, 10 Cloverfield Lane, and even an episode of Black Mirror named Playtest. The director has already earned a nomination for Outstanding Directing First-Time Feature Film by the DGAA for his work. And is now all set to add his expertise to the town of Hawkins.

His experience should add a more thrilling experience for viewers, considering the dark theme of the Netflix series. Its makers Matt and Ross Duffer typically directed episodes of the horror show. But the finale, which will be released in two parts, will give the director to showcase the fate of its character.

Stranger Things was renewed by Netflix for its finale back in 2022. Everything from Bill Byers’ sexuality to the full potential of Eleven’s powers will be unleashed as the town of Hawkins fights the evil that Vecna is.

The finale season will first release part I followed by II. However, the production is affected as the Duffer brothers are showing solidarity with the writer’s guild. Fans can only hope for a settlement to come out of the Writer’s Strike soon since the failure of it could cause further delays in the production and release of many other shows as well. Until then, fan speculations will continue.
