In Hollywood, we are never short on celebrity beef. Time and again, we have witnessed a plethora of celebrities from 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather to Jay-Z and NBA legend Allen Iverson; the list of celebrity battles is endless. However, while talking about beef and controversies, one cannot forget Kanye West, who is among the most controversial rappers. In recent times, West has become one of the favorite targets of the media and is always under the spotlight for his questionable statements. So, it is not surprising that the Flashing Lights hitmaker once had a beef with Michael Jordan.
Kanye is not new to online feuds and beefs. Now and then, the rapper is making the headlines. West has been caught up in various feuds with major celebrities such as Drake and Pete Davidson. And previously, the rapper even had a feud with Michael Jordan as the rapper dissed Jordan’s shoe line on his song Facts. So despite dissing him on his song, why did the rapper want to link up with the Basketball legend?

Kanye West wanted to meet Michael Jordan?
On his song Facts, Kanye West took a dig at Michael Jordan where he claimed that Yeezy jumped over Jumpman. And as we all know, Jordan is extremely competitive, be it in basketball or sneaker sales. However, the rapper still wanted to meet the Chicago Bulls legend. West claimed he would buy Chicago Bulls so that he could sort things out with Jordan in his song, City of Gods. He rapped on his song, “After I buy Chicago Bulls, I’ma go and link with Mike.”

However, owing to the earlier diss, Jordan has still not met West. Despite Jumpman’s refusal to meet him, West left no chances as he has apologized to Jordan on a number of occasions. Previously, Marcus Jordan tried to bring the two legends together but failed to make it happen. West expressed his disappointment on a podcast where he revealed, “I’m trying to meet with Michael Jordan, it’s like ‘Man, it’s a song, man.”
