After Campainging Against Ryan Reynolds’ Oscar Nomination, Hugh Jackman Is Ready to “Punch the Shit Out” of Him
Ryan Reynolds apart from having a successful acting has a reputation as an incredibly hilarious individual. Ryan’s sharp witted and comical nature is not unknown to the masses. While many fall for Ryan’s pranks and jokes, Hugh Jackman on the other hand gets back at the Deadpool actor. As we all know, the two have an ongoing fake feud going on for years now and recently, the X-Men star did something very peculiar.

Soon after Reynolds bagged an Oscar nomination for a song from Spirited Jackman took to Instagram where made a silly plea to remove Ryan’s nomination from the Best Song Category. The Wolverine star joked how Reynolds’s nomination would make his next year insufferable. And now after campaigning against Reynolds’s Oscar nomination, Jackman is all set to “punch the shit out of Reynolds.”

Here is what motivated Hugh Jackman to return as Wolverine alongside Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 3
Deadpool 3 has been a long time coming. One of the most successful and popular superhero films, Deadpool is all set to return with its third instalment. To make things more interesting, even Hugh Jackman announced his return as Wolverine. And recently during an interview, the Logan star had a few things to say about his comeback in Deadpool 3. While speaking to the Guardian, Jackman revealed the hilarious reason that motivated the Wolverine return.

Jackman spoke, “I just wanted to do it and I felt it in my gut … I get to punch the sh*t out of Ryan Reynolds every day.” However, the Real Steel actor spoke how it was not an easy decision. Jackman admitted that he was OK of letting go of the iconic Marvel role. He continued, “When people would ask me [to reprise the role] – including Ryan, I was like: ‘I’m done.” Originally the actor intended to retire as Wolverine after the 2017 movie Logan where his character was killed off. However, it all changed now.

As of late, the film is scheduled for a 2024 September release. And recently, the Logan star even dropped some major spoilers about his relationship with with Ryan Reynolds’ character. To make things even more exciting MCU is all set to bring a fan favorite X-Men character in the movie. Considering the hype that surrounds the film, it would be interesting to watch how the creators will work out all these new changes in Deadpool 3.
