After Bringing in Laurence Fishburne, ‘The Witcher’ Adds Three New Faces to the Season 4 Cast
Fans of Netflix’s The Witcher have been hooked on watching Henry Cavill play the role of Geralt of Rivia since 2019. While the actor may have left the fantasy series after the third season, the creators chose to go ahead with Liam Hemsworth in his place. Although fans were not too pleased with the decision, there was not much they could do about it except stop watching the thrilling show, which seemed to be an option after the disappointment of the third season.
To ensure that would not be a concern, the creators added Laurence Fishburne to the cast months ago. However, they have now chosen to add a few more.

According to reports from Redanian Intelligence, Netflix's The Witcher has welcomed a few new faces. Just months after adding Laurence Fishburne as the fan-favorite character, Regis, three more stars were added into the fray. The reports stated that Sharlto Copley, Danny Woodburn, and even James Purefoy would be a part of the upcoming season. The stars would be taking on the roles of Leo Bonhart, Zoltan Chivay, and Stefan Skellen respectively.
With Bonhart said to be a ruthless bounty hunter, fans might get to catch a glimpse of the character in the upcoming The Rats prequel. While each character seems to fit into different storylines of Andrzej Sapkowski's novels and will add to the thrilling Witcher world, fans were still on the fence about seeing Liam Hemsworth take the beloved role of Geralt of Rivia from Henry Cavill. After all, the actor's sudden departure had left everyone wondering how the show would explain the change in appearance.
While audiences have been breaking their heads over how the change in character could play out, a potential explanation ended up being leaked online.

With major developments in the tow for season four, filming stands set to resume soon, with reports of the shoot locations also surfacing. Finally, with Anya Chalotra's Yennefer and Freya Allan's Ciri looking at pivotal positions to steer the storyline, the upcoming narrative may well be on par with the ones that made fans fall in love with The Witcher.
