There is no one in the Imperial Family of Great Britain who is as stylish yet elegant as the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton. Over the years, while maintaining a Palace-befitting fashion trend, the Duchess of Cambridge has emerged as England’s true fashion icon of the decade. Most of the time she steps into a new mesmerizing ensemble, it is bound to deliver a message to her subjects. 

Speaking of tributes, no one can pay homage as gloriously as Kate Middleton. Although the Duchess has had her fair share of criticism for apparently copying the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, she has continued to shine like forever. Following Queen’s demise, it was the Princess and her astonishing way of paying a tribute to the late Monarch which made the headlines. While everyone in the Kingdom was dealing with a devastating range of emotions of their Queen, the Princess of Wales gave her grandmother-in-law an overwhelming tribute that no one can forget. 

Three most influential dresses worn by Kate Middleton

One of her favorite designers of all time, the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton wore another Alexander McQueen to the Queen’s funeral. As she put on a sophisticated jet black coat dress matched with a veiled hat following the societal etiquettes of an English landed aristocracy. The silver lining to her all-black mourning ensemble was stilettos, pearl earrings, and a symbolic pearl choker. The four-strand pearl choker with a center diamond clasp was previously worn by Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth herself. 

In fact, the Duchess wore the same pearls to Prince Phillip’s funeral a year ago, honoring his precious gifts. Speaking of outfits, the dresses worn by the Princess have made their way to the most influential lists three times. All of them were unsurprisingly by Alexander McQueen whom the Princess prefers over all of her likable designers. The very first of them was the Queen Elizabeth funeral dress itself as said by a recent study.

The remaining two dresses are the Caribbean tour floral dress by Tory Burch. Throughout the visit, the Princess displayed a collection of light and summer looks with simplistic and light-colored outfits. The third in the most influential list dress of the year was once again an all-black figure-hugging mourning ensemble which she wore during a walkabout around Windsor Castle the following day of the Queen’s death.
