The recent stills and teasers of the upcoming Greta Gerwig-directed Barbie movie have us convinced that Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie make a great pair. They look stunning together, and they could not have cast a better Barbie and Ken. Fans of both will see the two together again pretty soon in the remake of Ocean’s Eleven.

And no, it is not the remake of the Brad Pitt and George Clooney starrer stylish heist version. In fact, most of you will not know that before Clooney and Pitt’s camaraderie lit up the screen, it was the 1960s classic that started off the whole thing.

Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling will start filming on March 6

Last year there were reports of Margot Robbie starring in a prequel of Ocean’s Eleven. A couple of months later, Ryan Gosling also joined the project. Although it was reportedly a prequel, recent updates reveal that it is actually a remake of the 1960s classic movie and not a prequel.

The original film starred Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin in the lead. The three World War 2 veterans teamed together to rob five casinos one night in Las Vegas. The Warner Bros picture was a hit at the box office. Years later, Warner Bros rebooted the movie in 2001 with Pitt and Clooney. The box office returns were so good that there were two more follow-ups.

The recent remake can reboot the series and be a sequel to the 2001 version! The film will reunite the Australian actress with Jay Roach, who directed her in Bombshell. Carrie Solomon is in charge of the script. The movie is to go on the floors on March 6.

The movie will take a while to come to the theaters, but Barbie will be here in July to quench your thirst. Are you excited about the remake?
